Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature activity. It offers everyone in a community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Relays are an overnight event, up to 24 hours in length.
Relay For Life is a life-changing event that brings together more than 3.5 million people to: Celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer. The strength of survivors inspires others to continue to fight. Remember loved ones lost to the disease. At Relay, people who have walked alongside people battling cancer can grieve and find healing. Fight Back. We Relay because we have been touched by cancer and desperately want to put an end to the disease.

We just opened our second 18 hole course for a total of 36 holes to play!
As promised this one is a shorter but challenging pitch and putt course, which is great for the family, Ace races and practice on your short game. It's also a permanent night course, equipped with solar lights on the tee pads and targets!
Both courses are a full 18 holes across fields and through the woods, so they are very challenging, fun and very scenic. To see a map of course #1, the Canyon Course, Click here!!To see a map of course #2, Click here!!
Horning's Hideout has now opened up it's second 18 hole Disc Golf course (of three courses planned)! For those unfamiliar with Disc Golf, the disc is much like a Frisbee, and the target is a basket devise equipped with hanging chains above the basket to knock the disc into the basket. It's a great sport, and the course is challenging, fun for both the professional disc golfer, families and novices of all ages (see Jane Horning making her very first putt!). As in the rest of our park, we are open every day for Disc Golf!
